With the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 fast approaching - the starting date marked on the calendar being the 14th of June - the Club World Cup Trophy Tour has commenced right after the start of the year.
From January to June the brand new trophy is travelling through cities of participating clubs, giving fans the chance to see it live and gather excitement for the tournament.
Double Tap has teamed up with FIFA for the whole duration of the Tour to reach audiences all over the world. As major players in the game of football, content creators have the opportunity to amplify the experience that FIFA has provided on the ground through social media. Creators that joined the Trophy Tour have had the opportunity to attend exclusive events, see the newly designed trophy up close and even meet some legendary and current footballers.
With the first 11 stops now completed, the Tour has already taken the trophy to New York, Lisbon, Madrid, Manchester, Porto, Juventus, Pretoria, Cairo, Tunis, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
New York kicked off the Tour as the Trophy was presented in Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store. The guests of honour included the FIFA President Gianni Infantino, singer Robbie Williams and football legends like Javier Zanetti. The excitement was shared through the channels of Casey Neistat, Enisa, Devin Caherly and Megan Patricia.
Over the next 10 stops over 30 creators from over 10 different countries have joined the tour, gathering over 24 million views in total.
Creators like Miguel Paraiso, Iván Mahugo, Lia Lewis, Rose Ruland, Sara Duque, Italian Football TV, Dalila Anna Stabile, Dedrick Bonolo, Iman Ali Dib, Samy Chaffaï, Laneksa, The Dutch Goalkeeper, Ben Black and many more have been able to create content for their channels and collaborate with FIFA.
The content from two stops in particular stole the show. Al Ain saw 8 creators generate over 5.8 million views, while at Al Hilal, 7 creators generated over 6.9 million views.
